APFELSINE — ABC Ad Network
A “social network for mutual advertising” — local businesses run each other's ads on connected in-store screens.

How this started
APFELSINE Business Club (ABC®) is a Berlin B2B advertising network for small and medium businesses. Members put a screen in their shop; the screens are “connected like the segments of an orange,” so members show each other's ad clips to walk-in audiences.
Challenge
The idea is simple; the system isn't. You need to manage members, their screens, the ad clips, and the rules for where and when each clip plays — plus the subscription and scheduling logic that makes a mutual-advertising network fair and controllable.
Approach
We built the platform that runs the network — members, screens, content, and the scheduling that decides which ad plays where and when — turning “businesses advertising for each other” into a system you can operate and grow.
Turning a clever idea into an operable network
APFELSINE Business Club is a "social network for mutual advertising": members put a screen in their shop, the screens are connected "like the segments of an orange," and members show each other's ad clips to walk-in audiences. The idea is simple; the system behind it isn't.
We built the platform that runs the network — members, their screens, the ad clips, and the scheduling rules that decide which ad plays where and when — plus the subscription and membership logic that makes a mutual-advertising network fair and controllable. It turns "businesses advertising for each other" into something you can actually operate and grow.
The hard part
Not the concept — the scheduling and membership logic that keeps a mutual network fair, controllable and worth joining.
